Mr. Waldron was born on April 1, 1950 in Frankfort, IN to Burton and Frances (Robbins) Waldron.
Living for most of his life in the Sturgis, MI and LaGrange County, IN areas, he worked with the Teamsters Union for 32 years as a truck driver. After retiring from the Teamsters Union, he began to drive independently for different companies in the area. With all his years as a truck driver he loved to travel and see the different parts of the country.
He had a love of spending time with his family and friends and later in life, became a lover of animals. He also enjoyed country western music, anything to do with technology, and working outdoors around his home.
For many years he was a member of the Michigan National Guard.
On September 12, 1998 in LaGrange, IN he married Cynthia Hummel; Mrs. Waldron survives in LaGrange.
Also surviving is his father, Burton Waldron of Sturgis, MI; three sons and two daughters-in-law, Andrew E. and Stephanie Waldron of Grand Rapids, MI, Aaron M. and Tracie Waldron of Hartland, MI, and Bobby Bray, Jr. of San Diego, CA; five grandchildren, Brandon, Lillie, Luke, Nathan, and Timothy Waldron; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Carol and Charlie Young of Three Rivers, MI, Donna and Bob Holtz of Sturgis, MI; two step-sisters and a step-brother-in-law, Val and Lon Sommers of Three Rivers, MI, and Jeannine Ballard of Centreville, MI; mother-in-law, Jan Hummel of LaGrange; father-in-law, Harry Hummel of LaGrange; and a brother-in-law, Kim Hummel of LaGrange.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Frances Waldron; a step-mother, Mary Waldron; and a brother, Bruce Waldron.
A memorial visitation will take place on Saturday, September 9, 2017 from 10 am-1 pm at Frurip-May Funeral Home, 309 W. Michigan St., LaGrange, IN.
Private burial will take place at a later time in Greenwood Cemetery in LaGrange, IN.
Memorials may be left for either ARK Animal Rescue or LaGrange County Council on Aging.
